got cash?

at my local laundromat's local coffee shop

This is one of my favorite places to come - it makes the experience of doing laundry a bit more palatable. (So does the cool "Atlantic City" mug I'm drinking out of.)

I want to write a post about my female situation, but it will involve backstory, and I don't have the patience to blog that longhand. It will have to wait.

I can talk about my latest fear, which is that I'm not going to be able to pay my bills this month. My unemployment got cut in half this year, which means that I get less than a grand a month. Even if I don't go out at all and eat only Ramen noodles, I still couldn't make ends meet. I'm hoping for a couple of weeks of temping, which would totally fix my problems, but I've only gotten one gig so far. I also start work on my show in Fox City (thanks Hot Librarian!) starting May 1, so at least there's an end in sight - but still.

A bit of reading, and then off to put my four loads in the dryer...

I really should have taken a picture of the mug. It was tight.

You'll need to explain Fox City to me in person. I'm lost.
