I can't properly articulate the pride and the sense of possibility I feel right now. I keep thinking about my mother, as a child, drinking out of colored water fountains. And now she's seeing a person of color winning the Democratic nomination for President of the United States. We truly live in an amazing country.

I'm so excited at the thought of him becoming President.
I'm looking forward to the change! There's no question whoever wins is going to have a tough road in front of them.
So who do you think he'll choose for his VP?
I just read a great article urging him to consider the governor of Montana, which sounds inspired. But I think it will probably be someone like Gov. Strickland of Ohio, a person who can deliver a swing state.
However, given the fact that Obama's basically reinvented politics as we know it, he may totally go outside the box on this one and shock us all...
